Non-negotiables

Updated: May 20, 2023

Philip drove me to this marathon. Love him so much
St, George Marathon Bright and Early!

So much to do, so little time. That's how I feel almost every day. Yet, when it comes down to it, there are only a handful of daily "to dos" that one must prioritize.

What has helped when I feel overwhelmed is to identify the top three non-negotiables so that when done, everything else is icing on the cake!

Here they are....

  1. Exercise - go to the gym, do some yoga, walk the dog, run a mile. It all counts, and I need to do it by noon! Only 30 minutes is all it takes to rev up your engines for the rest of the day.

  2. Drink Lemon Water - one tablespoon of lemon juice in a tall glass of ice cold water (some like it hot) is the most refreshing thing you can consume first (thing in the morning. (My next challenge is to drink it before my coffee, but that's another day....)

  3. Take my vitamins - over the past year of tending to my health, I've amassed an array of supplements supposedly to help in weak areas of my body. Do they help? I believe so, and that is why I take them each day, no questions asked!

  4. Testing out my Amazon Affiliate links. Click here to purchase products.

Could I add more than three non-negotiables to my day? Certainly! But that's not the point. More is not always better and it's more important to be consistent in your routines than haphazard. It's like building muscle memory.

The most important challenge is to get in the routine so that what you do daily becomes just part of who you are.

So I ask - what are your top three non-negotiables?

You'll thank yourself at the end of every day if you can come up with at least three!

Carry on and dig deep my friends
